Phosphor Sedimentation Silicone Applied to the LED Package

 The Company's entry product is a phosphor sedimentation silicone applied to the LED package. Phosphor sedimentation process can effectively improve the luminous flux and luminous efficiency. In a conventional phosphor sedimentation process, phosphor is precipitated to the bottom by a centrifugal equipment after dispense. This method is complicated, mainly used in the phosphor deposition of SMD-3014, 3020 and other small size bracket. Another method is that let the bracket stand for a long-time (approximately 12-24h) after dispensing to achieve the purpose of phosphor automatic precipitation, which is difficult to control, easily influenced by the room temperature and phosphor particles, and poor color area may occur with slightly careless operation, so the production efficiency is low and occupies a large space. Our product is a two-part heat-cured silicone with a high refractive index of 1.53. A /B composition ratio is 1:1, both two parts are colorless and transparent, the viscosity is 4,500 MPa • s after mixed. Phosphor can automatically and uniformly deposited to the bottom when heated at 100 ℃or 150 ℃ for 1h without using the deposition equipment. The phosphor uniformly deposited on the surface of the chip, effectively increasing the color area concentration and reducing equipment investment. It simplifies the process, improves production efficiency and saves space, which not only can be used for small size bracket but also for large size COB phosphor deposition process. What’s more, the cured hardness is D30 and light transmission rate can reach 98% (1mm @ 450 nm). This product is safe and non-toxic.
